今紫　
太陽の高さがマイナス4～6度となる日没後のわずかな間、
空は紫と青に近いブルーモーメントのグラデーションに包まれます。
昼間に見る空の青さとは異なり、漆黒に染まる前ほんのわずかな時間にはその紫青の世界を楽しむことができます。短い曲ではありますが５拍子のリズムを取り入れ、コロコロと変わりゆく夕闇の様子を表現しています。

Imamurasaki
For a brief period after sunset, when the sun's altitude is between minus 4 to 6 degrees, the sky is enveloped in a gradient of purple and blue. Unlike the blue sky seen during the day, this fleeting moment before the sky turns pitch black allows one to enjoy a world of purples and blues.
The piece incorporates a 5/4 rhythm, expressing the changing scenes of the twilight.

カノン変奏曲　
カノンはギリシャ語の”規律”に由来し、
旋律を追いかけ重ねながら音楽が進行していくスタイルを取ります。
ヨハン・パッヘルベルのカノンによる変奏曲を箏曲としてアレンジしました。
３度や完全５度の音の間隔の違いを楽しむために平均律ではなくピタゴラス音階にて調弦を合わせたり柱を自由に動かせるお箏ならではの特異性を活かした演奏を試みるため楽曲にしました。

Pachelbel's Canon in D major by Koto
Canon derives from the Greek word for "rule," and it follows a musical style where the melody progresses by overlapping and chasing itself.
I arranged Johann Pachelbel's Canon into variations for the koto.
To enjoy the different intervals of thirds and perfect fifths, used the Pythagorean tuning instead of equal temperament.
The unique features of the koto, such as freely movable bridges, were fully utilized in this arrangement.
