翼眼
3拍子と4拍子のリズムが複雑に絡んでいきます。サンバやロシア調のリズムをパート別に取り入
れ一つに溶け合わせていくことを意識した作品。箏曲の1箏、2箏という縦の粋を超えて横断的な
譜面構成にチャレンジしています。元々は即興7回連続のオーバーダップにて創作した
1000EYESという作品がオリジナルです。弾き手は複雑なリズムの絡みを体得しなければならず土を掘り返すように一音一音念入りに耕す根気が求められます。
ピッチは433 Hzと敢えて低く設定することにより高音には角の取れた緩やかさ、音の広がりを追求しています。

TSUBAME (Winged Eyes)
The rhythms of 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures intricately intertwine in this piece. It consciously blends samba and Russian rhythms in different parts, merging them into a cohesive whole. The composition challenges the traditional vertical structure of koto music, 1 koto and 2 koto, by adopting a more horizontal, cross-sectional approach.
Originally created as "1000EYES" through seven consecutive improvisational overdubs, the piece requires performers to master the complex interplay of rhythms. They must meticulously cultivate each note, much like turning over soil. The pitch is deliberately set lower at 433 Hz to achieve a smooth, rounded quality in the high tones and a broader soundscape.
